Mrs. McMahon brings career long experience to the firm with numerous cases including divorce, post-divorce modifications, paternity actions, child support enforcement and modifications, dependency actions, commercial litigation, contracts, non-compete agreements, banking litigation and first and third party insurance claims.
Mrs. McMahon served as a Staff Attorney to the Judiciary for the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida and gained tremendous insight and experience while assigned to the Unified Family Court and Circuit Civil Divisions.
Mrs. McMahon has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2008 and is also licensed to practice in all the U.S. District Courts for the Southern & Middle Districts of Florida. Her professional memberships include The Florida Bar and The George C. Young American Inn of Court (from 2014 to 2020). She also received the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association Award.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mrs. McMahon attended Austin Peay State University on a debate scholarship, and earned her B.B.A degree in Business Administration. Thereafter, she worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Newell Rubbermaid and Expeditors International. She then attended law school at Western Michigan University and was selected for a paid internship at the U.S. Department of Defense in Washington D.C. She also received the Book Awards for Florida Civil Procedure, Florida Criminal Procedure and Family Law-Child Abuse and Neglect.
As an equity partner with McMahon Law Group, P.A. Mr. McMahon brings to the firm over 26 years of substantial civil litigation experience. He currently works with many firm clients on family law issues, modifications, paternity, child support, dependency and divorce actions. Mr. McMahon also provides legal services to clients in both state and federal court with their homeowner's association (HOA), first and third party insurance disputes (property damage, coverage disputes, personal injury, liquor liability, wrongful death, commercial and personal automobile, and premises liability); commercial litigation (contracts, non-compete agreements, and commercial landlord/tenant); Mr. McMahon has frequently lectured nationally and in Florida on topics involving property and casualty claims, civil litigation practices, bad faith insurance claims and life and disability coverage.

Mr. McMahon has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1998 and is also licensed to practice in all three of the U.S. District Courts in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court. His professional memberships include the American Bar Association; The Florida Bar (where he served on the Student Education and Admissions Committee to the Florida Bar from 1999-2001); the Orange County Bar Association (Citizens Disputes Mediation Program 2006-2017).
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. McMahon earned his B.S. degree in Criminology from the Florida State University. Thereafter, he worked as a Registered Representative for Merrill Lynch & Company. He then attended law school at Shepard Broad Law Center where he served as editor-in-chief of the Nova Law Review, and earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude.
